FAQs

Is a preview necessary?

In short, yes.

The more detailed answer is this. A preview gives you a chance to try the look on yourself, colours and styles can look very different from one person to the next so it’s important to check you’re comfortable and happy for your big day. It takes all the stress out of your morning so you know you’re in safe hands and able to sit back and enjoy! It also gives us a chance to get to know each other, so it’s not just some stranger barging into your room on your wedding day!

What happens at a preview?

When you book with me your welcome pack comes winging over by email, this gives you a little bit of homework (I know, how mean) in regards to coming up with an overall vibe for your look. Once we meet we will discuss this, I can offer suggestions based on hair and skin type and then we crack on creating your look! More in depth insight into what happens at your preview can be found in your welcome pack

When are final balances due?

The remaining balance for your wedding should be paid before your big day – who wants to deal with money when they’re about to embark on the happiest day of their life! I usually ask for payment in full in the week leading up to the wedding.

When should I book?

If you are certain you want me for your day, - the sooner the better. I can get enquiries up to 2 years in advance although must are around 1 year. Some dates can still be available last minute though so never hesitate to contact me, it might not be too late!

Do you require a deposit?

I do take a £50 deposit that is non transferable and non refundable to block out your wedding date in my diary.

I want to book! What now?

First off - thank you!

If you don’t already have a quote from me, you will need one - you will need to fill out my enquiry form which gives me all the details I need. Once your quote is received and you are happy I will draw you up a booking form which also has details on how to pay the deposit.

Once the deposit is received along with the signed booking form you’re in my diary! Then its onto the exciting time of booking your bridal preview

What brands do you use?

I have a variety of brands in my kit, I’m not a one brand kind of artist! All the products I use have been tried and tested for their longevity and also photograph beautifully.

Here are a few brands that I use but this list is not exhaustive;

Charlotte Tilbury, Illamasqua, Dannessa Myricks, NARS, Tarte and MAC

I’m eloping but still want my makeup to look great - can you help?

I offer 1-1 makeup lessons where I can teach you how to apply your dream wedding look. I will follow up with a full how-to and product list so you will have no problems recreating it! I’ve had brides jet off to Cuba and New York among other places after their lessons.

Do you cater to vegans?

I have a large variety of vegan products in my kit and will be able to accommodate - but please do let me know in advance on your booking form in the allergies section.

Where are you based?

I am based in South West Leicestershire and will travel to your for your trial and your wedding date as I am fully mobile.

I loved my wedding makeup, can you teach me how you did it?

Of course! You can book in to a 1-1 makeup lesson after your wedding day. I record all the products I use on my brides so we can go through step by step and also give you a full shopping list to go splurge on. My makeup lessons aren’t only about getting new products though, I can teach you how to create a similar look with whats in your makeup bag too.
