Terms and Conditions
BOOKINGS: To secure a date, a signed contract is required with a £50 booking fee. The booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The booking fee is non-refundable for any reason (this includes acts of God, fire, pandemic, illness, strike and/or extreme weather) Please be advised, dates will only be fully reserved when a signed contract and deposit are received.
SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements Siân needs to complete the services. A “set up” table/work area needs to be made available for the artists at said location. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly.
A schedule will be provided, with instructions that help to deliver the best service. Please ensure that your face is clean and free of makeup. Your hair should also be clean and fully dry. It is the client’s responsibility to share this information with their party and venue.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY - The client should inform Siân Revill of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. Siân cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform them of any know condition. Siân reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour. Clients and anyone receiving hair and makeup services agree to release the artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.
It is strongly suggested the client has wedding insurance
CHANGES TO THE BOOKING: If additional services want to be added the client needs to inform Siân with at least 2 months to the date. You will be advised if the additional services will incur an assistant fee.
Cancelling services anytime between booking date and 3 months prior to your booking - No further charge, any deposits paid will be retained.
Cancelling services within 3 months of your date - 50% of the quoted balance will be required and any deposits paid will be retained.
Cancelling any service within 1 month of your date - 100% of the quoted balance will be required and any deposits paid will be retained.
If it becomes apparent that clients have symptoms of any contagious viruses which include but are not limited to covid 19, conjunctivitis, herpes, head lice, we reserve the right to refuse the appointment without penalty to ourselves to avoid the serious risk of cross-infection and contamination.
PHOTOS: The client agrees that Siân Revill and any assistants she brings may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the company’s website and social media pages unless the client has expressly withdrawn their consent in writing. Please make this known to your bridal party.
ASSISTANTS: Sometimes an additional person will be needed for your booking, this will be included in your initial quote. If additional services are added then the client will be informed if this changes the need for an assistant. An assistant will not be charged for without prior communication and agreement from the client. If Siân recommends another supplier or an assistant for your booking, the responsibility of that booking and that service is with both yourself and the supplier. Siân Revill will not be held accountable.
HYGIENE: All products and equipment used by Siân Revill will be properly sanitised and disinfected before the appointment begins and during the run of the appointment. Appropriate equipment is used to ensure no cross contaminations. If it becomes apparent that clients have symptoms of any contagious viruses which include but are
not limited to covid 19, conjunctivitis, herpes, head lice, we reserve the right to refuse the
appointment without penalty to ourselves to avoid the serious risk of cross-infection and contamination.
PAYMENT: Payment can be made via BACS. Cheques and card payments will not be accepted. £50 of the invoice is payable to secure the date with the remaining balance being due 7 days prior to the date. Failure to make full payment before the wedding date will result in termination of the booking.
COMPANY CANCELLATION POLICY -PLEASE READ
In the rare and unfortunate event that Siân Revill is unable to perform services on the trial date or wedding date, for any reason, including but not limited to sickness, accident, weather, etc., reasonable accommodations shall be made up to and including a full refund of retainers for services not provided. Every effort will be made to replace the artist at short notice where possible but this can not be guaranteed and is subject to a replacement artists availability.
PLEASE NOTE THAT BY SECURING A BOOKING THE CLIENT ACCEPTS THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
